A small seaside village 4 km from Novalja, right on the Bay of Pag.
Vidalići is a small apartment village about 4 km outside Novalja, situated right on the sea with a beautiful open view over the Bay of Pag. Small beaches are numerous and attractive, and during the hot summer months a constant warm breeze makes your stay more enjoyable.
On the other side of the bay there is more worth visiting — the beautiful beaches Katarelac, Prnjica, Čista, Sveti Duh and Filino, which can be reached by renting a boat from your amiable hosts. Restaurants and a small store are within a few minutes' walk.
The Pag Triangle
Vidalići lie near Croatia's most famous beach Zrće, but also close to another Pag phenomenon — the mysterious Pag Triangle, an unusual imprint in the stony terrain discovered in May 1999 on the hill Tusto čelo, just 2 km from Vidalići. Studies found the stones inside the triangle are lighter than those outside and emit red under ultraviolet light — proof they underwent heat treatment some 12,000 years ago. In just three years it was visited by over 30,000 people from all over the world.
Island of Pag
Bare karst hills, crystal-clear bays and century-old olive groves.
Novalja
Novalja is the centre of the northern part of the island, 6 km from Vidalići. In recent decades Novalja has strongly developed thanks to tourism. Today Novalja and Zrće Beach with its nightclubs Papaya, Kalypso and Aquarius form a world-famous centre of entertainment. But it is not only 24-hour fun that marks Novalja — there are also many restaurants, cafés and shops, a pharmacy, banks and a marina in nearby Šimuni.
Town of Pag
The historic Town of Pag (24 km by road) offers medieval streets, the UNESCO-listed Pag lace tradition, ancient salt pans and excellent local restaurants.
The island
The island of Pag belongs to the north Dalmatian islands. It has a Mediterranean climate with long sunny periods and an indented coast with numerous bays and capes. Small pebbles and sand scattered along the crystal-clear sea create wonderful beaches. Mostly barren hills, sometimes covered with underbrush, immortelle and sage give it a special charm and make it mysterious. Pag therefore offers guests a variety of adventures and excitement, but also complete relaxation in the quiet atmosphere of a picturesque landscape of century-old olive trees, stone oak and pine — along with valuable cultural and historical monuments and archaeological sites.
Location
Right by the sea in Vidalići, on the southern shore of the Bay of Pag.

Metajna is a small, peaceful village on the northeastern coast of the Island of Pag — tucked into a sheltered bay, unhurried, and utterly unspoiled. The sea here is crystal clear, with underwater visibility reaching up to 30 metres. The landscape is like nowhere else: bare karst rock shaped by centuries of bora wind, stretching to the horizon in terrain visitors describe as Martian — or lunar, depending on the light.
The village has its own beaches, restaurants, shops and boat rentals, all within easy walking distance. The famous Life on Mars Trail begins right here, passing above hidden coves and wild coastline for up to 23 km — one of Croatia's most celebrated hiking routes. And the historic Town of Pag, with its medieval streets, UNESCO-listed lace tradition and ancient salt pans, is just 30 km by road or 5 km by boat.
